But either way it amuses me so much, I can't stop laughing during the playthrough.
So after I think about it:
The saboteur is really Albert Tokaj, a pschiatrist and pharmacologist. But phisically he's the not-balding one. He's going crazy with boredom (and maybe being cooped up underground for so long) and developed the split personality. He's taunting this Albert we're playing which is actually himself - the tame, goody version of him.
He's going around in killing rampage. But in the end (I agree with above comment, those monsters are just people trying to stop him) he killed half of earth's remaining population (yay).
(Wow, everytime we got game over, the citizen of Glory is saved!)
For the prop city - maybe it's build to make people in Glory feels a bit normal? Some building are habitable and real anyway. But maybe the radiation got to people there since it's closer to the surface?, so the colonel abandoned the project? (Also in cannibal's house, there are bodies of people in Glory's white-red uniform - captured guards from Glory?). OOR, maybe like everything else, it was just Albert's imaginary gone haywired and he killed people who are tested to live in the fake city.
Karolina most likely died in the destruction of Glory and just Albert's imagination afterward. I mean, come one, fully armed Albert (me) died several time trying to go through the city. How could she, unarmed from what I saw, survived? The writer would be pushing too much suspension disbelief for this one.
The end is really- too many plot holes too.
- The guard of Fist said they saw junkies outside before - Where did he come from? The prop city? It seems really unlikely.
-Where do the Fist guards get the security feed from Glory? I think in colonel's room, it is said that the attempt to contact Fist failed?
-If the ending is real, I think our balding Albert won the fight inside their mind, thus we heard Albert's voice even though phisically it's the nonbalding Albert.
-Maybe Albert died outside from radiation and the end that we saw is his dying mind. (lololol)
-If it's not, then most likely Albert would be deemed too dangerous by Fist and get killed (quarantine my ***).
hmph.
It's really interesting, making us continue to play game even after we finish it. this feels like trying to put the puzzle pieces together. interesting.
I guess we'll have to wait for the sequel, I hope the dev would tell us more about what really happened.
I think the guards dragged him from Fist gates in the above ground... If I'm not mistaken, near the end we still couldn't walk under the sunlight? (I couldn't check, it's still updating damn my slow internet)
And which group above ground? I think the only thing above ground is flailing nuked dead people, ghost, big human thingy and machine... I think there's noone alive and it's all Albert's mind.
Pretty sure we'll be going around collecting notes about this legendary crazy man that destroyed a whole shelter by himself :p
edit: I'm sure I read the mod in this forum said somewhere Albert is most likely dead but we'll get bits of what happened to him?
