Expenditure, Resources Purchased?

Can someone explain this item on the ledger? I assumed as the state Ratizens purchase goods from me hence why I can tax resources? So what exactly am I purchasing from them? Because it's a significant part of my expenditures. Also is there a way to see the list of resources purchased? I can adjust prices but if I don't know what they're consuming I can't know what to adjust.

You are buying anything they put in your storage. Honestly you don't need to worry about the cost of items just increase civil tax. Also makes sure to make a wealth ceiling tax to prevent rats from stockpiling gold. Your city is a closed ecosystem so you need to make sure that the gold circulates.

To increase what you charge on the item, without increasing what you pay for the same item.

Almost anything ratizens put on your storages. You pay the full price on most stored items. Except gathered resources. In this case you only pay for gathering and transport services.

Not a big problem as you also charge the full item price when reselling. Zero profit/loss.

Although when building infra-structure, then you consume the items instead of reselling. They are part of the cost of the buildings.

Also, there is also another source of costs which is hoarding items. Then you pay full price when storing, but don't resell to get the money back. Losses directly proportional to the amount of hoarded items. Hoarding items CAN lead to a kingdom financial crisis.
