I have a similar setup in my colony. Only issue that arises is that it requires a rat that has no other tasks to come over and collect the slain rabbits.

Also for any thinking of doing something like this, I learned that the rabbit holes themselves soak water up so you can't attempt to drown them directly on their spawn point. You'll need to make a pit of sorts filled with one block of water to drown them.

You probably don't want to build that on more than 2 (maybe 3 ?) rabbit hole.
I have 70 rats and over 2600 rabbit in stock, I can't even use them - it's a huge waste of hauling time to have too much.

Sell them? Do any trader accepts rabbits? I haven't done much trading

Can't sell. You could sell product based on rabbit but it take so much work to make them, I don't think it's worth the time at all.
