I’m having trouble using rails. I built a rail strip with ladders under my main crafting area, but none of the rats use it. I’ve heard rails are really good, but I can’t seem to make them work. How do you effectively lay them out and make the rats use them?

Try closing off your crafting area from anywhere but the rails, and force the ratizen pathfinding to go into the rails?

Do you have a screenshot? Fitting all the beds/toilets/joy stations next to the dozens of different crafting stations make me wonder the best way to do this. I find using the lift stations a lot better

rail are best for rats to access storage i usually have rail connected to my main storage, they use it all the time, especially if the storage is their main food source. or building material storage
