More Early Food (Please)

As a fan of "Oxygen Not Included," I'm enjoying the mouse version of that game. While I know that it's meant to have a pretty strong survival element to it, having only one food option (wheat, unless I'm missing something) early on -- and often with very few instances of it -- makes for a lot of starving mice very quickly. An underground food source early would be awesome or increase some of the instances of wheat, so my mice aren't keeling over within the first 3 weeks of game.

hunting and fishing are pretty easy early, although the fishing route is a little harder if you don't have a nice fish spawn. Rabbits are all over though

get a hunter station and a butcher. another good early method. you can also get a silviculture station for growing more till you get a farm
