How to get more research points?

I just got the game. I want to know, how do I get more research points?

You get research points with the laboratory and adding new stuff you find on the chest.
This can be anything: dirt, stone, mud, food, animals, seeds, etc.

What I would like to know is... How do I make my leader level intelligence???
I know I can level her strength by carrying / working.
While her speed leveling is just running around.

Again, how do I level intelligence for my leader?

For now nothing work for me to change intelligence on the queen. Trade, research nothing helps there.
