The controls are designed for a controller, not mouse/keyboard. The mouse/keyboard was tacked on after, or at least made as a secondary option to the main preference for controller. Controller controls suck on mouse/keyboard. I uninstalled as soon as I experienced that it's controller focused controls. Feels bad, not going to get any better, and I'm not going to deal with that long term. Put the game on ignore. It looks like a great game, one I'd normally like to play, but controls that feel this bad are not something I'm ever going to change my mind about playing with, so there's no reason to look at the game ever again.
Just giving you some feedback on my way out.
Same issue. I didn't realize it was made for controller first. I haven't played with a controller for many many years and I haven't played any colony builder on a controller ever in my life. I tried to give the game a chance and follow the tutorial about 30 mins. I gave up after that. I was very disappointed but I guess on the other hand, controller players finally have a colony builder made with them in mind. So, good for them. It's just not for me.
Is this the implication that this game doesn't support key rebinding ?
No. We provide presets for QWERT/AZERTY keyboards, and we also offer custom functionality for all major keys, regardless of the keyboard.
