Activision pricing in Brazil is ridiculous
New games published by Activision are suffering from terrible selective pricing in Brazil:
-Deadpool is costing an equivalent to $88;
-Fast & Furious: Showdown is costing an equivalent to $78.
This doesn't make any sense, Activision is the only publisher that has done this kind of joke. Any ideas on what are they trying to achieve with that?

=======
EDIT: Both games are now priced at ~47 US dollars. Fair enough?

Glad I haven't played games published by them for quite some time... I'm just hoping that this joke doesn't become a trend ...

Absolutely nuts, lol.
Here in Argentina its $29.99, still i would not buy this. It looks pretty bad.

The price is wrong, i`m about 100% sure that they made some mistake and will fix the price soon

nope, dead pool game is R$180, and both games are published by activision (of course)
Willy May 22, 2013 @ 6:51pm
If the price is correct nobody will pay it

I just saw this absurd price and came here to check if its not a bug. So, this is the most expensive game on Steam? Big LOL.

So its a Brazil only price. Good luck for selling a single copy here.
Willy May 22, 2013 @ 7:02pm
I`m still think it`s a bug price
FFHH May 22, 2013 @ 7:03pm
Nobody will pay, nobody will play and Activision will blame... piracy!
And then they will further increase the price because that's the only way to make up for piracy and still profit, right?
...

Yeah, it would make more sense. Its exactly twice what is usualy charged for a big release.

I think that they may be trying to equal the price of their games on steam to the price of console games in Brazil. The thing is that PC games never costed that much in retail, so of course nobody will buy them. I bet they will change these prices once they see that their sales number in Brazil fell to zero.

It is indeed a shameful move by Activision, but I guess if ever a publisher was going to do something like this, it would be them.

We're also discussing the matter here:

And I didn't bought Metro Last Light yet, because I think its too expensive (85R$)... and that's an actual good game :P

Craptivision always charge more in regions than others, i have never bought one of their games so i am not to blame.

The ppl to blame are those who keep buying inflated priced games, compared to other regions

I just noticed the price of this game in other regions and I was shocked, thought it was a mistake and then said to myself "I bet it's Activision publishing this"... YUP.... typical.

This is the price across Steam regions... $30 for US, $50 USD for Australia, $78 USD for Brazil? outrageous.

US: $29.99
RU: N/A
CIS: N/A
BR: R$ 159,99 (78.08 USD) (160% )
UK: N/A
EU: N/A
AU: $49.99 USD (67% )
