Speaking of the turret thing, I think sometime the interface delay could cause a bit of bug where you might get stuck because you tried exiting the turret too fast while also getting damaged. You can still use the turret, it's just sometime you have to be lucky that the eye didn't choose to roll or use laser beam on you
your starting loadout after dying should honestly be a bit better than in the beginning once you get to the woods, give us an actual chance
(third lvl difficulty) I restart whole game again, i reach to the woods again and clean whole map and in results, before start bossfight (eye) i have around 150hp/50armor, 3 grenades, 3 active drones (my God) and full inventory of weapons ... and i loss again :)))
Damn eye just oneshot me with ram attack (surprise for me). My volunteer was not bad promoted and was full stack of stuff in inventory. Levels and minibosses were as a joke for my powerfull man, it is mean that it is only one good way to pass this level - restart game. Restart level (a least of this damn Woods map) will give you a nothing and meaningless wasting a time in infinity hopeless tries to break the stone wall by the your head.
DEV! please do someting with restarting map gememechanic after dead, it just not worked :)
Game too easy up to this point when you die, and incredably hard with starting late maps with just UZI and kitchen knife:)

You can use the turret even during pauses between eye ball laser attacks. Only in the end, when the eye starts rolling, you have to use your own gun.
I beat the boss on the first try, but the wave of minibosses at the end killed me :(
I had not enough ammo for all of them. I started the map with 300 small ammo and one gun. It was not enough :S
So, it's basically a soft-lock. Developer knows about it and does nothing, unfortunately.
