Game works surprisingly well on Win 10
Soul Reaver 1 and 2 gave me quite a bit of trouble trying to get them to run on Windows 10. Mostly getting the game to run, then look right, then the controls were all a bit tricky to work, but it is still very doable with some patience and research.

Defiance, I am pleased to say, gave me almost no trouble. All I had to do was adjust the controls a little (basically, just pick a Steam controller configuration that suits you) and install a widescreen patch (similar to what I had to do with SR2) and voila, game works like a charm. Awesome!

got any workaround on the sfx stutter when running game on win98 compatibility mode?

sorry, no. I never ran the game in win98 mode. Why are you running it on that?
