Does anyone have a fix for the cape and wing glitch?

I just got the game out of nostalgia and I'm having a great time with it. however, I have a really annoying graphical glitch that is frustrating. The cape that Kain wears seems to not work as intended. It will get stuck in a position, and then stay there and stretch incredibly far as I walk away until it snaps to a new immobile position and glitches the same way again. This also happens with Raziel's wings but only sporadically where as with Kain's cape it is a constant. Anybody know how to fix it?

I will eventually figure how to fix this issue, as i do fix other games quite a lot.

I figured out that limiting core to 1 gives a little help but again there no sound of music...

This just started happening to me, exactly as you describe. I played through half of chapter 1 with no issue. Then it crashed. Now, I get this problem. Did you ever find a solution?

No, but hopefully I shall go through the game and work out a fix for the issue, i mean i could just be a permission confliction, or it could be just a effect that is being triggered by some security by the software, i mean best ways to easily test is by maybe disabling your security such as anti virus as a first test, then to check firewall, after that, to then go deeper via changing the actual settings to the game, like as someone said that limiting a number of cores helps. So it could be aimed to some actual config files needs adjusting to have it work etc.

I had this issue while vsync was turned off. Enabling vsync fixed the problem.
