Questions about repair and pressure

So, the green bar is your HP on the vehicle.. and I picked up the repair kits. Are these passive or do I need to actively use them? I can't seem to get them to work.

Also, does the pressure continue to decrease with time, the more you turbo, or the more damage you take? I understand that when you kill, you get pressure pods (or whatever they are - the white capsules). But I'm not certain exactly what causes me to lose pressure so early in the race.

** P.S. I was playing co-op, if that matters. As in, can the other person kill more than you and thus take more of the capsules or is it shared?

Hi Vandal!

The green bar is your 'HP' and the white bar is your 'Pressure'. Your 'Pressure' decreases with time. Turbo/Boost and damage doesn't affect your pressure.
In Co-op you can share your pressure with your friend by pressing Y on your Xbox Gamepad or F on the keyboard.
Furthermore the person/player who kills the enemy in Co-op mode gets the pressure.

But take care! There are enemies called "Sucker" and they steal your pressure. If you kill them they return the stolen pressure but if they run away your pressure is gone!

The repair kit is a secondary weapon. You can activate it by pressing B on your Xbox Gamepad or pressing middle mouse button or G on your keyboard.

Why the repair kit is upgradable then? You upgrade it but you have limited use each run but it resset each time?

Higher upgrades of the repair kit will give you more health each time you use it and also the cooldown time is reduced :-)

i assumed that i was losing cuz i was using boost too much and wasting pressure>>> never found health to be an issue on normal mode but i keep almost reaching the finish line which is knda annoying
