So quick question is it 2 zombified scientists that im looking for or 2 dead static props im looking for?

3 but there seems to be a bug.. spoiler ahead:
i found the one under the heli first, then the supposed to be final guy above thge ug lab and i guess this bugged the quest and then i found the one on the tree

I found the one by the heli and the tree, but not a 3rd one yet :\

it actually fixed my quest after reloading :D the 3rd on is here if you wanna know when you enter the building where you find the one under the heli, just exit the building to the back side and youll see some big pipes, folow them in the south direction until you see a office like complex with a wall around it, on the map it says "UG Lab" in the corner all the way down, go in there to the 2nd floor if there is a scientist then bingo, if not you have to reload or do some fast travel to "reload" the zone, i give you a tip be careful sometimes the creatures from the lab glitch through the ground and you have to face multiple mutants xD

Wow, I went to that building and since there's no marker telling you your in the right place I just left to search elsewhere. Had there been a fu@#$ing marker I'de have at least known it was a bug and was in the right place. This game has gotten worse in the year I've waited to give it a try again. This is the 3RD quests that has been F&&cked in this play through. the church, the logger/lumber guy. And I've only done like 6 quests.
Not to mention a half dozen CTDs.

Thanks for your comment I only spent about an hour wasting my time searching around.

I left a positive review for this game back then, saying it will get better. It got worse. smh


EDIT: Now the leader won't spawn,. Fun fact: I killed that thing the 1st time I came there (when the NPC didn't spawn). I thought it was just another zom. Now I doubt it will ever spawn again.

anyfix for this since its a scripted kill? (it buged out spawned 4 infected zoms killed all 4 left the zone the returned an IRL week later to get smacked in the face with the SCI and the kill leader quest
