Absolutely, and I can't imagine playing it without it. I'd also add you might want to look around for how to make steam put the popups in the top right instead of bottom right. It makes it slightly better in the beginning since they didn't change pc from xbox and that's where the xbox ones pop.

I wouldn't play this game any other way, considering it was designed with consoles in mind. The Xbox 360 (wired) controller works FANTASTIC!

yes both wired and not (i use one)
compatability is inbuilt with windows as it is microsoft but you may need a usb dongle to use wireless though
