Game crash on launch.

When trying to launch game, it crashes and says unable to start due to app already running.

Ya I'm having the same issue, I've already tried reinstalling and updating drivers and still nothing

Obvious suggestion, but I'll make it anyway.

Have you tried restarting Steam? and then if that doesn't work, going one step further and restarting your computer?

And I mean a proper restart...not just pressing the power button on your laptop once.

I have reset my computer and now just reset Steam and still same issue

Yes I tried the above suggestions. It says the DP.exe is not working. How the hell the the executable file not work?

Don't know if it was a fluke or what, but I just deleted my shortcut on my desktop and went into Steam and made a new one and it booted up no problem.

Hey, I had the same issue and managed to fix it by using some random startup commands. (They sometimes just..work. Magic, I guess.) Anywho->

1) Go to steam library.
2) Right click on game.
3) Select properties.
4) Click on "Set Launch Options" on the general tab.
5) Insert the following command: "-nocrashdialog" without the quotes.
6) Start the game.

I have the same problem. I tried all of the above. I reported this to Steam Support. Eventually they sent me a whole page of suggestions. Tried them all, uninstalled. reinstalled so many times. Nothing works. Game still doesn't start.

One of their suggestions was to ask the forum members (honestly!)
So, here goes: anyone else any other bright ideas?

I want to play Deadpool, I even paid $65 for it on Steam. Please!!

I had tried about two dozen different things various posts and websites said to get deadpool to work and none of them worked.

However, for a seperate reason, I decided to update my graphics driver. And now Deadpool will open correctly too. Hope this helps someone.
