I doubt it. Activision has the rights of the game, and Disney/Marvel has the rights to Deadpool; they need a new licensing agreement, but I doubt they would talk about that.

This might be late comment, but I am really interested in this. I am currently debating if I should trade my deadpool gift away now or maybe later at higher price, hoping that the contract is not renewed lol

I guess a renewal would depend on how well it sold. Honestly Dont think it will be making a return. All partiers involved knew the lisence ended last year, If they wanted to renew they would have done so before years end. If there is any hope it would be in the sales figures from the holiday sale.

I would hold onto it for now unless people are offering some sweet deals.

Activision said they had no plans to renew their Marvel license. So no, it won't be back for the foreseeable future.

Sorry but this is wrong, Disney owns some companies that put out more adult orientied material. Ever hear of Touchstone Pictures? It's owned by Disney and some movies it has released are not suitable for children, one example would be Pretty Woman it's a movie about a hooker if you didn't know. Clearly the licenseing agreement expired and they''ll renegoitate if they think it's worth the money but it's not looking that way.
