Not Steam's fault, fix your PC.

So if I buy a Steam key for Deadpool from ebay, will I still be able to download and play it on Steam? If so, how would that work?
Nuvola Spigolosa 20 ENE 2014 a las 8:06
Yes, if you buy a key and redeem it on steam you will be able to play it normally.
Jimbabwe 20 ENE 2014 a las 8:22
Awesome, thanks!

I bought one yesterday, redeemed and downloaded. Works flawlessly, love it. :boomer: But I can't find any store that have the DLC. If anyone is looking to get the game, I've found this digital store yesterday while looking for DLC. They got Steam keys of the base game(no DLC sadly) in stock, and support PayPal payments. Of course you will be able to redownload it again, as many times as you want. Game was removed from Steam store, but not from Steam servers. Once purchased\redeemed on Steam it's permanently associated with your Steam account forever. It's in your Games library to stay, so no fear. Besides, just right click on about any (any commercial game - free to play games will disappear from library when uninstalled, until you install them again from within your Steam client) game you own in your library, click Uninstall, and read - Steam notifies you that the game content selected will be uninstalled, but the Game will REMAIN in your Library so you can reinstall it anytime later, my friend. Cheers.

Square Enix asked Steam to remove their game Order of War from Steam, AND to remove the game from peoples libraries!

No refunds were issued (at least not on mass, there was a rumour that if you pestered you could get one)

So, games aren't "forever".

I don't know anything about Order of War other than the name, which I have seen before. What I do know is that Square Enix has nothing to do with Deadpool because that's what we're discussing here. I don't know what happened and caused whatever you claim that Square Enix did, and if. What I wrote is correct for the games in general on Steam, and true to what Steam informs the user after they redeem their game- regardless of whether they bought Steamworks retail title, or purchased it in Steam store or a Steam key. They are tied to one's Steam account once registered for good. Don't post misleading information in the topic of game removed from Steam under different circumstances than the one you brought up. Examples of game removals from Steam were unheard of in the past. I'm talking really long ago, at least I didn't notice any. None of us know the real reason or details of Deadpool removal (along with other Marvel games) other than some licensing matters concerning Disney acquiring Marvel.. Let's leave corporate bs out of this thread, aargh? And let's hope Deadpool will come back in future.
