Hello does anyone know does deadpool RU steam gift region locked??

These kinds of Russian Deadpool exist:

Both have "AllowPurchaseFromRestrictedCountries" set to "Yes" which means that keys cannot be activated in other countries, but gifts can.
It has no "onlyallowrunincountries" which would mean that you can play it.

You should check the "depots" tab though. It has an unpleasant surprise:

DepotID 224061 - Binaries
DepotID 224062 - Content
DepotID 224068 - Content RUS

This is what it says for both of these versions. Compare that to the international version, for example of the gift version at http://steamdb.info/sub/28777/ :

DepotID 224061 - Binaries
DepotID 224062 - Content
DepotID 224063 - Content ENU
DepotID 224064 - Content FRA
DepotID 224065 - Content DEU
DepotID 224066 - Content ITA
DepotID 224067 - Content ESP

This implies that Deadpool RU only includes the Russian localization.

You can download and play the game, but you need a VPN program to mask your IP and set it in Ukraine.

That is only partially correct. The key version[steamdb.info] works only with a Russian/CIS IP address. The version bought from the Steam store as an inventory item[steamdb.info] I linked to earlier should not have any restrictions on activating or running it.

The missing languages are still a problem for both versions, Deadpool RU is only include the Russian localization.

I'm playing the game in english with no problems, its just a pain in the ass to active the VPN program every time I wanna play.

1. Open this link: steam://open/console
2. Type licenses_for_app 224060
3. Report back here which license it says you have.

I have bought a regular retail key and it says for me:
