Delisted Marvel/Activision games

After the expiration of the Marvel license, Activision has dilisted all their games which include Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2, Deadpool, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2. These games can still be obtained using CD keys but due to their rarity they are quite expensive. All of the games that I mentioned above cost more than $100 on G.2.A and I couldn't even find a listing of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2. However you can still get them at a much cheaper rate by buying region locked keys (example:RU/CIS or Europe) but then the game would require a VPN to be played. The games will only stay region locked for three months and then you play your game easily without VPN. Hope this information helps, if you still have any questions feel free to ask.

My fear is to pay a lot for these games and out of nowhere Marvel starts to make their own games or Activision buys the license for a new title and these games comes back for another year... Just like Mafia 1, i know a fool who paid almost $200 for a copy and now the game is back on steam but without licensed musics

You can easily find the key for a cheap on G(two)A.COM but it will be region locked for Russia, which means that after redeeming the key you won't be able to download/play the game for 90 days unless you download the game. I bought both Deadpool and The Amazing Spider-Man 1 steam key for $4 each two months ago and recently I bought The Amazing Spider-Man 2 steam key for $6. If you want to buy the global key for Deadpool then you should be very rich because it costs more than a $100 which would be a waste of money because all these games are mediocre are worth spending more than $10.

Wait a minute, i live in Brazil, if i buy the RU/CIS key i can still activate in my acc ? Even if i'm right now in Brazil ? And the game will only work after 90 days ?

As long it's a key, Yes you can activate it but if it's a steam gift the you'll need a VPN to activate it. However you'll still need a VPN to download and play the game if you want to play the game during those 90 days even if it's a key. I myself activated RU/CIS keys for Deadpool, The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 on my account even though I live in Pakistan. However some RU/CIS keys don't come with English language. Deadpool and The Amazing Spider-Man 1 had english language when I played them, not sure about The Amazing Spider-Man 2 because I haven't downloaded it yet.

I'm glad i paid almost nothing for this :P

If it didn't work then try using a VPN and if if it still didn't work then change your store country to Russia.

That's too risky, if you get caught Valve can terminate your acc. Did you use VPN to activate the keys ?

To activate keys, no I didn't use VPN. However I did use VPN to download these games because if you try access these games without VPN it will say region not supported. However I did change my store country to Russia to activate the key for Black desert online. Add me so I can explain you everything in steam chat

Well this explains everything. I have been wondering for years why Deadpool was taken down and it hasn't shown up again like before. Now that the opening of this discussion has explained one of the reasons (the other is little interest/mediocre game), all of this information makes my investigation so much more sense now. I did not think that discussions would still be available because the store page is not there anymore. Well now I know. thank you for posting this discussion.

X-Men origins wolverine was never on Steam. It was on Games for Windows live. Check SteamDB if you don't believe me.
