The game has a solid foundation, but:

no one is going to pay more than a dollar for the game if it's enough for an hour, especially since there is potential for development, and here it's worth looking at the structure of the Dredge

- night/day cycle where the player has a day to clean up the new trash, where coming back later means less time to sleep/be more tired/have a limited view of the trash on the surface of the water by doing so

- The economics of the game to be reworked, at the moment there is a very low level of customization, actually zero, you need specialized additions to the ship, whether to clean up oil, or plastic, or wash up the beach. etc. all of this should be able to be changed in port and upgraded, which of course takes time. The rule of thumb should be that we always have a shortage of time to do everything, and the areas we have neglected should be in a much worse condition to clean up the next day.

- destruction, at this point the player is not able to damage the ship, whether due to wear and tear or hitting something, the repair system should be included in the game economy, which should extend the gameplay brilliantly.

- Finds are a nice thing, but again, this is an empty mechanic that does not lead to anything, let it be some kind of mission that we can undertake in the port, which will also add variety and lengthen the gameplay.

- the map, I think it should have a more open structure (and bigger!), where we have different places where we can enter and explore some smaller sections, but with a fairly large region that would be something like a hub from which we start where we want to go on a given day

A lot of work has gone into making this game, don't treat it as a closed project, but start adding mechanics, the success of dredge shows that there is a market for this type of game, it's worth looking at what can be adapted to this one
The game really lacks many features like visible boat damage or day and night cycle, all of these contents can be included in future patches making the experience better, I agree, it would be really cool to have them, but because it's a game from a single developer, they made the game simple but with a lot of personality, and the game can evolve with future content patches, and the price is very attractive compared to Dredge itself and the difference of 20 dollars maybe that justifies it being so simple.

I paid 6 times more and it was worth every cent

good for you, But I don't believe there is a large group of such players.
In any case, this is my subjective opinion, and anyone can agree or disagree with it. The purpose of my post was not to stigmatize or force the creator to change the price, I meant to suggest changes to the game, to give it a more developed form. This game can be put into the current of so-called “cozy games”, where one of their main pillars is repetitiveness. The only game of this type I've finished is Potion Permit, and from the structure of that game you can also draw plenty of inspiration for the development of this one. What I want to say in a nutshell is that I see a lot of work put into a title that ends faster than we get used to it or like it. It's just worth developing.
