Hi there, rest assured our team are working on taking in player feedback from a ton of different sources about weapon durability and considering if/when we might make adjustments.
Please Do not adjust wep durability. The people who are commenting this do not understand how games like this work. You aren't suppose to have a weapon that lasts forever, If you did the game becomes less of a tactical challenging game and more into "oh look I found a crow bar now I win the game"
They are just children who have no patience or understanding how games like this work. If anything just make an "easy mode" where weapon durability is increased. Please do not cater to the people who don't understand what this game is, they wont be your long lasting player base even if you change it for them.
They're asking for a tweak in the durability not making all weapons indestructible. I saw a review where someone said they broke a fire axe after killing three zombies, how does that sound legit? a broken bottle, a makeshift hammer, and such I get having low durability, but a crowbar being able to take one more zombie than a pool stick doesn't make sense. Don't raise it to max, just raise it a bit so it lines up more with real life.
also people play games differently than others, not everyone wants to get their ass kicked when they play a game, so some sandbox settings would definitely be appreciated (similar to how Project Zomboid has their sandbox settings)!
you can just make them more rare, repair fails, other mitigation to increasing durability.

Also, developers should really address the frame rate issue especially for M4 Macs - I have an M4Pro Mac with 24GB memory and it still lags a lot. It's not a AAA game with ray tracing come on ppl
