That said, this could be an ability of certain characters, such as a military or a muscular athlete, trained to do this.
Also keep in mind that they might consider keeping the incapability of door slamming for balance reasons since the game has yet to launch into early access. Do you keep the doors open to give yourself an escape at the risk of letting zombies wander through? With the demo, you learn pretty fast not to leave doors open because of unexpected, but otherwise predictable spawns, so that bit of forethought kinda goes out the window. But those spawns might change come early access allowing that bit of strategy to be viable.
Did highlight this issues in the discord there for the developers team, as one of the players make an effort to post a short clip demonstration, when survivor are spotted by the zombies, in an attempt to break away from being caught by the zombie horde, the survivor started to run, but in the short clip though, while the survivor was running to the door and open, the survivor had a motion movement need to creep and open the door feature that split second of delaying. The players there including myself suggested to make it possible, during run time when survivors are running for their lives towards to the door, instead of creeping behind the door and peeking through, straight breaking the door while running through.
Of course to suggest this, theres always an argument for the logic if really implement this. For your info
What about kicking a door open?
In this game, a door is either closed or open.
If it's already open, you just want to kick air?
Unless it's a Shaolin monk demonstrating martial arts, I don't really see the point.
Maybe they could just skip the crouch/peaking animation, and go straight for the opening door, if the character is running....
well, we did what we can in the discord and here in the discussion, is now up to the developer hand if they able to work on this before the actual release.
Bicycle kick the doors as you run, just like Liu Kang!
