Can't take shelter after killing all zombies.

I was trying to take Aunt's May shelter, cleared it, but still no message that I can take it. But there is no zombie in it. I tried to run around several times in case of hidden zombie, but it didn't help. It looks like the game didn't count the last killed zombie and now I'm stuck on the main story, cause it's the only shelter that have access to water tower location.

Fix or any workaround to reset the location would be great.

No work-around (maybe), but I also ran into the bug where all zombies were dead on my first run-through and I couldn't claim Aunty Mae's Truck Stop Diner.

After I left the map and came back a second time and picked up most loot (Some broken weapons I left behind) and a few other misc items I didn't take the first round... Afterwards it let me choose the location to move shelter but sort of a wasted day where I was planning to move into and couldn't.

SOLUTION:
I entered this map with the character RAHUL without taking anything, because I had already killed everyone and collected everything, I ran a little across the map to the left and right on both floors, I closed the doors and opened them and at the end I left the map using the right side. I also found a bug - when I run to the right at the end of the container and want to climb, the character starts climbing from the outside (as if he went through the wall). Btw I did not get any message while on the map that I can move in but after exiting I now have options to settle there.
