Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days

Exploring tip: Your guys can JUMP
I missed a lot of stuff by not realizing that the guys can jump over large holes/obsctacles.
Just move back and sprint towards the gap, and they will jump over!
If you know any more awesome tips let me know.

Yes, and the jump (Space) must be done while running (Shift).

When stealthily killing a zombie with a single-use weapon, or one at the end of its life, press Tab to quickly select another weapon.

You can throw a bottle across a room to attract zombies and stealth them or escape

A cup of coffee takes away fatigue, and alcohol lifts your spirits.

Beyond survival priorities (food and water for cooking and planting), the priority is to level up the weapons workbench to be able to craft axes, studded baseball bats and revolver bullets or even craft one if you find parts before a complete one. Also knifes. Then a medical workbench.

There are a few threads scattered around here that list lots of tips.

dang its a pain that jumping breaks stealth. the cargoyard map wakes the zombies down below when you do it. Not sure if they will stay awake forever on return visits. i think that happened in the demo with a zombie waiting outside at the start of the level after he chased me off the map and broke the door the previous run
To the OP as u mention about Jump, Jump in into the dead our darkest days are considered as "running" meaning, jumping will have some noise to alert the sleeping zombies. One good example is the Briarwood motel there. For your info

That's actually what I was thinking too.
If jumping from stealth, please get me back to stealth after jump.

Actually, let me drop this into Suggestions subforum.

I guess it makes sense from a roleplay point of view. Maybe there is (or will be) a character who can jump while making zero noise, I for sure can't do that in real life. Thanks for the info, however! I had no idea sprinting is what was needed. Also, you don't need to press jump/vault, sprinting is enough.

Edit: If you keep pressing the direction button and only tap the sprint key while you're just on the edge of the gap, the character will jump but will not make any noises. At least it worked for me on one of those holes in the floor in the hospital.

Does anyone know if and how this works using controller input?

Never figured it out myself. First I heard about it for keyboard.
