You know very well that in all zombie games, a military organization without conscience nor limits, trampling on good laws, is responsible for the disaster, and that the underlying battle is between it and the civilian victims. Without considering those who aren't involved, of course, or immune. This is the fundamental semiosis of the genre. The difference with tales of vampires or demons is only a harmonic slide between scales of notes about the villains and psychopaths of all human domains.

its legit the begining of the outbreak....
I think the closest thing you get to Military Char is Sebastian. ( From what I got from the snip of his character Dialogue, He was part of the marine or army in the Vietnam war.) That or Kirk the Police man.
I made a mistake saying "in all", it would be more accurate to say "the majority" since there are variations. Curious to discover by myself while playing, the explanation of the disaster according to this game, and how it evokes a solution, or no solution, to this disaster. Unless there is a planned sequel with twists and turns.
well theres kirk, hes a cop, and most cops helped the military in the quarentine

Would love an actual military guy though.
Maybe one day devs will give us more customization over starting chars?

Maybe (I assume) they'll add a survival scenario for Mason and Garcia in an already destroyed city. After all, the last story in Into the Dead 2 ended with them ending up near Walton.

Sebastian is a Vietnam war vet, he keeps talking about how this whole situation is like back in Khe Sanh during shelter dialogue popups
