Havent seen it, should be a a gameplay option "auto-equip next weapon from backpack y/n"

Also, need a way to re-enable tutorial again. Once you click "Don't show it again" it's gone for good, and there is no way to turn it on.

Devs really need to add "Gameplay" options tab to keep track of all these variables.

Being able to unequip is great as well. As to not waste durability on killing blows.
Just quickly press Tab and select a new weapon, no need to wait for an action or movement to end. Avoid using red and even yellowed weapons and use another one.

Manage durability carefully as well as weapons selection for each raid. I always take one large weapon, one or two for stealth attacks, a revolver with bullets, and a lockpicking tool. Sometimes you need a bolt cutter, but I prefer to return to the location and make a note of it in my notebook for next time. Using Joe in good shape is important because he has two extra backpack slots.

Attack zombies from behindand use breakable weapons like knife, glass bottle, scissors or rake which are single use, to save others. Be patient and let them turn around, always be stealthy, don't open a door without looking.

Find a revolver or create one. Level up the weapons workbench to get more durable weapons and craft bullets, even making a loud noise is the best, one shot and no more zombie.

Pressing Tab and hovering weapons, while being beaten by a bunch of zombies is... not a good design.

Hopefully devs get to it. The solution is beyond simple - when weapon breaks, just auto equip next one. This way you can even arrange the weapons in your backpack in the order you want to use them. And anyway the game already equips a weapon when you had no weapons and found one. Just implement same thing when weapon breaks.

I mostly move around with stealth wpns and change if necessary.. always leaving my heavy hitting most durable wpns in my 1st slot (upper left in inventory)
If I want to change to silent wpn, usually have plenty of time for a stealth kill, but if the ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan and you want to move to better preferred "oh crap" moment weapon, keeping that weapon in the top left spot and hitting "TAB follow by R" immediately takes you to inventory then selected that slotted wpn.

I actually think they should add a belt that you can store a secondary weapon and switch between them. Going into your backpack is fine for storing unused weapons but I think anyone surviving a zombie outbreak would be sure to have a backup weapon close at hand. A belt would solve this.

I agree with that idea of auto-equip next weapon, so that players can arrange their weapon in a sequence in the bag and fight without shorting of weapon in dangerous combats.
