There are some shelters you can go to that have a water crafting station, you can get water that way. Otherwise, it just try to find it.

More people has problem to low water? Where to find it? What kind of item is water when looking at the loot of places? Food? Basic items?

I have 0 water, 4 characters and like 8 meat and vegs.
Same here, no bottles or shelters with water collectors at the moment. Finding ready-made meals instead of dog food is nice, but it’s impossible to plant or craft meals. Only 2 bottles so far, just today, for 8 Goulash, after 7 hours of play since the release. This calibration issue, which feels both better and worse, will likely be improved over time - one of the main reasons for this Early Access.

I'm sitting on around 12 survivors and about 70+ waters and even more prepped food and even more raw veggies.

Water isn't too terrible to come across. This is my second playthrough. On my 1st water was abundant. On my second, it was a drought for a bit, (no water at the water treatment plant?) but as I went more North, I came across plenty. (I was only scavenging with one survivor at a time too). So I know the map is kinda randomized but for me, I started heading south and found less water but when I went back up north, it was prevalent (and of course the materials to collect water at base ((takes 6 turns)) are so abundant)that I created plenty of water that way!

Make a food/cooking station, make meals and get empty bottles from it, move to a base location with a water collector, assign survivor to water collector and get more water than you will ever use. I put three survivors on a water collector and got 50+ water bottles.

Can you not build a water collector at some point btw? I am not very far yet, so idk.
Just seems strange to me, if we aint able to build a water collector... I mean, that wouldnt be a very hard thing to do, not even in real life... not even without knowledge.... :D
(I know... realism in such a game, or games in general, is nothing you have to expect... but i mean... in this case... cmon :D )

There are bases with water collection and you have to build water filters for it. So I think we can assume the rain water isn't safe to drink.
