cant seem to continue my game with the previous save, Stuck on the loading screen forever

The game is really stupid without any state saves, if a character dies you cannot start the run again.. utterly stupid

Not stupid, it's the style of old games from the 1980s, options will be available later.

Press Alt+F4 before the next round if you really want to try again and not lose it or restart to do everything better.
