Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days

Loot disappears after claiming a place
First of all, loved the demo and will definitely buy the full game. I had a very good time with it that far.

But ... a major questionmark for me: why do resources disppear once you claimed a place as your new base. I mean, it does not make any logical or gameplay sense. I get into a place, clear it out but am not able to loot everything. When I claim a place with leftover loot that loot should be transferred to my inventory automatically.

I don´t understand this mechanism.

They don't. If you transfer to a new base, you will get the loot that was there.

I have not tried moving to a new base yet in the ea version, but in the demo it would automatically add whatever was leftover at the place you cleared to your inventory when you would move to base there. So if it isn't doing it for you, it probably is a bug?

Would that include loot you've not actually discovered on the map, like behind locked or padlocked rooms within the location? Or do you need to 'find' each loot opportunity for it to add to inventory when you move in?

Uh, my mistake then. A misperception. Thanks for the clarification.
Now I am fully game for this game :).

I am fairly certain that has long as you have viewed the loot, it would be added. I am not sure about loot that has not been "searched" before though

You are welcome! Best of luck to you with your game, Mister Jingles :) It might be best to try and keep track of what should have been added when you move though, just in case there is actually a bug as knowing the location that might be bugged could help get it fixed!
