I do not really think it is possible as the game is. You can send one survivor for looting mission only.

Not in all cases - I've had many runs of chaotic fun with my friends in the old school Baldur's Gate games, which people said shouldn't have been multiplayer, for instance - but for this style of game, I do very much agree with you.
