Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days

Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days

Seeing a Zombie Survival version of This War Of Mine
And thinking this is a most excellent combination; have been watching Splattercatgaming's playthrough of it and quite impressed so far.

One thing that I hope is looked into is the weapon durability; everything seems a little bit too fragile for my liking. Cast iron skillets and decent hammers shouldn't fall apart after five hits. That's a bit of concern.

Everything else is shaping up quite nicely in my opinion :ridden_thumbsup:

Significant enough similarities to warrant it :conwayshrug:

- Similar Crafting system
- Similar Base Upgrading system
- Similar Location and Search system
- Similar Character Maintenance system

So where's the issue with the comparisons?

Comparing Into the dead our darkest days to other games may high up expectations for no reason + it's a zombie game not just some silly apocalypse:3

Naw
Not sure why some folks are getting testy about the comparison to This War of Mine, at least from a general game play standpoint. TWOM was a great game and taking inspiration to make something new with a different theme and extra mechanics is nothing to be ashamed of. I played a lot of TWOM, and I can see myself playing quite a bit of this game also once its released and has some location randomization included.
