Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days

Steam Deck?
Does anyone know if this game will be playable well on the Steam Deck?
Anyone tried the Demo on it?

So right now it does play but is not "Steam Deck verified".

99% of the steam game you can play on steam deck, just need a bluetooth mouse&keyboard, I stick my steam deck dock right in front of my work computer and just play at work most of the time

First of all thanks for doing your duty for the emperor soldier.
So the game doesnt really have controller support?

I played the demo with my dualsense. All fine, I dont know what the other guy was thinking...
The problem: A lot of verified games plays 30fps or even worst with upscaling or even dynamic resolution, on low. Looks horrible. The demo here plays 30fps with dynamic reolution. Sorry but for me this is a no for me. Hope you guys fix it, game looks amazing.
I am bit underwhelmed for I thought this to be a perfect Steamdeck game for my easter holidays. However the game runs and looks very bad on the deck. There is nothing better I can say about that.

On my desktop PC, everything runs fine but on the deck there are problems with VSYNC. It appears that it is applied double and therefore the input lag of the controller is nuts and the game is basically unplayable.

It does not matter if you turn off the fps limiter steamdeck wise or if you turn of vsync in the game menue or vica versa or both.

Turning everything off and setting everything to off or low makes the game look terrible and furthermore the framedrops are still unbearable, rendering the game a "NOT PLAYABLE" on steamdeck.

Even Wreckfest 2 early access performs better.

Still if this was to run with 45 fps or 60, the game is a good game and I quite enjoy it. It reminds me of "This War of Mine."

The pricing seems a bit absurd but then again, I cannot tell how long the game is and what is there looks promising.
I feel like the graphics have taken a hit from the demo on Steam Deck but everything is set to low in the settings. I haven’t played around with the settings much yet but I am enjoying my time with it.
Do you mind sharing your steamdeck settings then? Have you got your frame limiter on or off? Do you allow tearing? Do you use a different proton version?

Nothing to share. I am using default settings. Like I said though everything is set to low so maybe play around and see if you can get something that plays better for you. I have an original Steam Deck. Not OLED.

Haha, I did not even notice his name until I read your comment.

For the Emperor!
