This is NOT Deadlight 2.0 - But it's not a bad thing
I partially enjoyed the game demo, but I don't think I will be buying it and before anyone starts looking for an argument, this is just my opinion and I thoroughly encourage people to buy or support the game if they like the look or feel of it.

Now, it isn't like Deadlight and that's what I think I was expecting along with a few other people. So when I realised it wasn't the same, I was kind of disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the game is visually stunning, it plays and feels nice and I actually really love the characters and there different back stories. However, I feel like for me personally, that the game-play is just "too passive". Setting up a queue of tasks at the shelter is just not for me. I'm certain many people will enjoy this approach, it seems similar to This War of Mine. I thoroughly enjoyed the scavenging side of the game-play, and I think this could potentially be similar to the Deadlight 2.0 that people are looking for, but I found myself just dreading going back to the shelter and managing all the resources and tasks.

Alas, this is just my preferences, I appreciate the direction the devs are wanting to take. Their character creation is fantastic, the theme they've created is fascinating and it's left me feeling sad that I couldn't really "get into" this demo.

Perhaps I'll take another look in the future, because even as I type this, the game still intrigues me. For now, Good luck and best wishes Into The Dead: Our Darkest Days.
