noob tips
0 <- most important PRESS TAB to open inventory of each character! The game seems to forgot to tell us this during the tutorial??

1- if the ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan, running (shift) seems to be a better option than fighting multiple undead and getting stun locked to death.

2- Save wood by not barricading bases unless you need to finish something inside them. Better to just find a new base that already has barricades set up.

3- Get Weapon station then cooking station up asap. If im wrong pls let me know.

4- Do not feed the arab guy with a weak stomach dog food, you will regret it!

5- Half the rooms closed by locks have open back entrances if you search long enough.
Memorize locations for locked chests that ussually have good loot in them but be sure to
get that weapon station up first! Weapons break too easy but you can 1v1 a zombie in
emergencies with ur hands but for MOST characters that is not a good idea.

6- If you are going to the old historic house you will face 2 or 3 zombies at the only entrance so save a good melee weapon like the hatched and a strong character to hulk ur way into that area.

7- If a zombie spots you and start to raise its head up to yell for back up, u got 2 seconds to run up and stun him or failing that run for ur life. Zombies on alert mode will spot you trying to hide. If your way back out is littered with zombies try running up stairs and close doors behind you. If the zombies lose line of sight on you they usually calm down after a bit.

Cant say disagree on point 3. But I always goes for cooking station then weapon station. But I only do this order is the fact I understand the game and plan for this. Especially I always play Hector and Kayla, saving all survivors and I need a good cook with the right station to save me the trouble when my survivors are facing food shortage or hunger. The fact that I only build weapon station is only for repairing guns, I didnt even use the weapon station to craft a single melee weapon. I just stealth, hide, trap and kill the zombies when it is really necessary. Example the first phase in the irving drive abandon house the first scavenge? I save the scissors didnt even use it on the first zombie, I just run, lure and trap the zombie inside the house, while my survivor run to unlock the shack and loot all the stuff then escape before the zombie breaks the door. Some of the areas, can be avoided to fight if u know how to save the weapons, at the end of the demos, I have a lot of melee weapons at my disposal. The only weapon I need to craft in the weapon station is actually repair hand guns and making bullets.

Adding to your tips here: try to save some vegetables, meat and water if u are going for cooking station 2 with a good cook skill survivors, can save a lot of food resources and u get a double portion of the food. Normal survivors cooking can only get 1 food, but the good cook skill survivors can cook 2 meals using only 1 food resources. Always send the hungry survivors on the scavenge run, if during the scavenge run found some junk food, and if he/she is not allergic to junk food, can straight consume junk food on the spot (same goes for drink beer) cook only enough to sustain the current survivors that u have, not more than that. (U might need some vege to go for the garden and plant to farm more veges) Secondly, when planning to build in work station, if u have enough resources, build a spare of lockpicks and continuously build the station. In simple word, normally each phase we have period of time, we can build 1 station taking 3 period of time. If u plan and scavenge the right amount of needed building materials, u can build 3 stations in 2 phases. Only that the building survivors need to work on the spot day and night time. (dismantling station are needed in priority in order to get a lot of materials, also need a specific survivor with a skill to dismantling to get more materials)
