Pushing and tripping zombies
Just an idea to increase the options in melee situations. How about the ability to run into and charged down or knock down a zombie? This would be a good technique when trying to escape from an alarm situation and the zombies box the character from both sides. If the character can get a run up, then there is no reason why they should not be able to knock a Z down and get past them easily. Add a flying kick for extra points.

The other side of this is that knocking down a z could make it easier to kill them on the ground and perhaps cost less weapon durability. This would make it a useful choice to compliment a stealth kill when the character has a stealth kill weapon. However if they don't have the appropriate weapon, knocking the Z down and doing some folk dancing on them gives the player other options to not raise the alarm. This could be an effective way to deal with a Z who is facing the character and going into a rage attack... if the character can get a run up and knock them down, it would interrupt the Z screaming and alerting the horde. None of this should be risk free, but it adds dimension to the choices the player has, which increases the immersion and complexity for very little game play change.

Love this idea!

Although can't lie the weapons break to fast right now so I'm not sure if what you're suggesting would be enough if like 3 zombies or more were coming for you!

I hope they implement this

Op is right. If the zombies aren't facing you and you have to make a run for it, techically speaking you should be able to run towards them and tackle them down to the floor. Only 1 zombie at a time though. Maybe it shouldn't work on a big beefy zombie but just the skinny ones like the skinny male and skinny female zombies.
