I think the developer's hit the jackpot here, this could be a great game if they do things right. It has a lot of potential. I've never played a demo past 5 hours and I'm at 40 now. It's addictively fun.
Bro if it didn't have an 8 day limit i'd honestly be playing it constantly
i can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wait for it to fully come out
Well good news is early access in January. I think they plan to have it as an early access title similar to Baldur's Gate 3.
What happaned iwth Baldurs gate 3? I've not actually looked at it
Baldur's Gate 3 was a RPG that was released after being in early access. Early access basically means that the developers open up their game to everyone while they are working on it. You still pay for the game, but you take part in the development. Some games don't ever have an early access, in that scenario you wait until the said release date but with early access you get to play while the developers work on the game.
In my personal opinion early access is better because the community can provide feedback and help fixing bugs while the game is in development. Part of the reason why early access games are so polished at release is because the community (us, gamers) actively aid the developers while they build the game. Think of it as helping the developers build the game by being alpha/beta testers.
The reason why Baldur's Gate 3 was so successful at release was because of early access and all the people from the community helping them by testing the game, smashing bugs, providing feedback all while the developers were polishing the game.
