where the heck do I find the activation code
I have looked everywhere online and I need the activation code so I can put it on my Ubisoft Connect account as I play on GeForce Now.

The code should have automatically tied to your Ubisoft account. when you install it from the launcher you baught the game on. hope that helps.

Sure I guess that helps

If it asks for an activation code. Something went wrong, Steam no longer does activation codes, it used to with older games.

2 ways to fix

1. Launching it and it will install Ubisoft connect. Then you put in your account details for an account (if you don't have one go to 2.) It will confirm that you want to put it on your account *it will ask if this is the account you want to use*

If you DONT have an account with Ubisoft connect

2. Go to https://ubisoftconnect.com/en-US/
Top right click profile Icon, Create account, Go into settings link Steam to Ubisoft.
keep the ubisoft connect launcher open, switch to steam, open the game and it should automatically link with the launcher.

Wait till GeForce Now would add support for Steam version of Watch Dogs: Legion. Right now it supports Ubisoft Connect and EGS versions only, that's why it asks the activation code.

Yeah that's what I'm doing

You can't, they stopped using activation codes a long time ago. GeForce Now asks an activation code, because it can't find Ubisoft Connect or EGS version of the game on your accounts. Because right now GeForce Now supports those versions only.

When you click on Legion in GeForce Now client you can see 2 buttons: Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store. You have to wait till they add Steam there for Steam version of Legion.

I believe Ubisoft moderators will read your post here. So write to GeForce Now support team so they could do it faster on their side. There is a feedback button in the top right corner in GeForce Now client. IIRC you can choose 'request a game' there or something.

Steam has always worked like crap with GeForce Now and I'm not surprised they haven't fixed it. It's Steam dragging their feet. They don't really care and they hate being involved in something that other storefronts use. It's the main reason that I pick Epic over Steam whenever I can. I don't use GeForce Now anymore, but that's where my frustration with Steam began. I don't think Ubisoft can do anything because to Steam they're just another competitor.

This is a problem with Steam which has never worked well with GeForce Now. Complain to Steam, not that it will do much good because they don't care.

Hey there guys,

Apologies for the delayed response!

Taking a look at the supported title list[www.nvidia.com], I can see Watch Dogs: Legion now shows as supporting Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games and now Steam.

Are you still unable to launch the Steam version of the game via GeForce Now?

It kinda works, you can play it but the main menu looks like it has letterboxing and the game looks pixalated, like if you tried to run a game fullscreen with a 16:9 monitor on 4:3 ressolution. Note that I was playing on 1920 x 1080 res which is my monitor's ressolution.

Hi Nikorek,

Thanks for the update.

I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your graphics.

Have you gone into the graphics settings and tried changing them to see if this makes any difference? I would recommend starting on low graphics then gradually increase it, and also try toggling some of the other options on or off.

So I just looked into it more and switching the game window from fullscreen to borderless windowed fixed the resolution problem.
