Here's an old review I did on it if interested: https://germsgaming.blogspot.com/2020/11/watch-dogs-legion-review-810.html
But yeah if this is the worst game you've played in your life then welcome to playing video games, you can look forward to there being thousands of worse games for you to discover.
gunplay is atrocious , melee combat even worse. Driving? the worst out there , even i have more fun driving on saints row 2 with keyboard. AI? non existent. Map its boring as it can get , sidemissions are completely irrelevant. It has unnecessary rpg mechanics. All characters lack of charisma or soul. Boring Ost and music.
I have +321 videogames and this is the only one i have hidden from my library.
I promise you there are thousands of worse games than this, if you are telling the truth then you haven't' actually been playing video games for 22 years, you've just been sticking with a select few choice games.
So yes welcome to playing video games, I hope you enjoy the new hobby.
Your favorite game is Saints Row 2. Ironic much?
I've checked some of your Steam games you've definitely played, Watch Dogs: Legion is objectively better than Kane & Lynch 1 and especially 2, and I pretty much enjoyed both Kane & Lynch games, especially the 2nd one. Case closed.
And both games are fun to play , everything works as it should. Multiplayer was hella fun to play.
Previous IOI game - Freedom Fighters - had significantly more depth, because it allowed you to manage your AI party members giving them direct orders, and to complete some mission objectives in different order facilitating multiple playthroughs. And FF's soundtrack by Jesper Kyd was absolutely insane. K&L1 simplified everything that was great about FF. K&L2 made already shallow gameplay even less complex. Both games were major disappointments, especially compared to Hitman games.
Any Watch Dogs game obliterates any K&L game, based on the fact that it has significantly more gameplay depth, because it supports more play styles (especially Legion), because any Watch Dogs game is a competent stealth-action game, where you can rely on shooting, driving and stealth mechanics. Meanwhile K&L games are not even good cover based shooters with distinct weapons, distinct enemies like, let's say, really good Gears of War games or Max Payne games. The only cool thing you can do in K&L2 is throw a propane tank and then 'auto' shoot it to get an explosion. Wow! What a groundbreaking gameplay!
Compare it to Legion, where, let's say, as a hitman you can turn AR cloak on and blink-takedown the farthest enemy in a group to appear behind others, then hack-stun nearby enemy, execute another one in CQC with your weapon equipped, remotely hack the car and drove it over another enemy, then shoot down couple of enemies, make a roll to reload your gun and at the same time avoid bullets that fly at you (like it's Matrix), and shoot down remaining enemies. Almost every skirmish in the game gives you this depth, gives you dozens and dozens of options of how you can deal with a situation, especially if you try to play it using different operatives.
Can't hold a candle to Aiden Pearce, Marcus or Bloodline's Wrench.
And your comparisons are silly , the fact that you're trying to compare different genre of games its a complete madness. But again , i don't expect much from a ubisoft fan.
You must be one of those that think that because a game have 500h of content , mean its good. LOL
i wont argue anymore with someone that can't break down videogame core systems. I find Legion the worst game simply because on 35 main missions , all objectives are EXACTLY the damn same : getting into a building , hack something , then hack something with time , getting ambushed by enemies and leave. or worse , a simplication of that.
I don't know why i would overcomplicate myself with stupid game mechanics that are behind a stupid fetch npc mission (that its just bussy work that i don't want to do because its objectively not fun to do), to have a new perk THAT I DON'T NEED because i can do it all with a damn spider and a couple of drones.
I find this damn argument the same with FromSoftware fanboys , uhuhu game is easy because you use summons on bosses uhuhuh its because you use a strenght build uhuh its because you're a mage. Its just down the most dumb thing ever , videogames HAVE TO BE fun in anyway the player decides to play a videogame or AT LEAST push the player to use the damn mechanics to not fall in a damn loop of boring ones.
Nope, I'm really glad that Legion doesn't have tons of pointless side activities that don't add anything to its core gameplay like WD1 or WD2 (or the recent AC games), it's shorter and more dense, that's why I replayed it and its DLC a couple of times.
Come on, you're the one who can't do it. All you can say is AI is non existent, that's not a breakdown, dude. I could make a breakdown and prove that AI is not only exists, but was improved in this game.
The fact that they've added melee system on top of WD2 AI already made it better. Because thanks to melee system guards don't shoot at you as soon as they notice you. If you holster your weapon, they will use melee attacks against you and that will help you to stay in a stealth phase, which makes it a much better stealth game than previous WD games.
Just in case, I don't like FromSoftware games, I don't buy them, don't play them.
Yeah, yeah, you just lost an argument and left.
