If you prefer shooter playstyle and a traditional open world game with traditional narrative, where you have a main character and story written around him, and you don't care about online (it's very glitchy in WD1 Steam version), buy Watch Dogs 1.
If you prefer stealth playstyle, sandbox gameplay over story, non-traditional system based narrative games like State of Decay or Shadow of Mordor, basically games that tell stories through interconnected systems and gameplay, AI focused games, and you can sort of pick your own character through Play as Anyone mechanic, and you would like to play online from time to time, buy Legion.
Thank you for the info , I saw the gold edition and I think that I can afford only one game , tbh I really want to try both of them , but my dad gave me money only to buy one game as my bday gift:)
But that's me who think that Legion is the best Watch Dogs game, WD1 is the 2nd best and WD2 is the worst one. Also Legion works very well on my PC, but it's significantly more demanding than previous games, especially with ray tracing enabled.
Regardless, if you decide to buy Watch Dogs 1 instead, install this Living City mod[www.nexusmods.com], but only after you complete the game story.
