my game doesn't come out of the black screen
My game opens, but it doesn't leave the black screen, the computer doesn't freeze or anything, it just doesn't leave this screen, how can I solve it?

This guy had exactly the same issue (in Russian). I told him to delete the game settings folder %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Watch Dogs Legion\ and try different launch options, you need to add them through Steam's game properties. Add -DX11 to force DirectX 11 or -DX12 to force DirectX 12, He said that -DX12 helped him.

Facing the same issue, purchased the game from steam & played it for 10 mins & closed it. When I started it the next day I get the black screen & the game does not start. Tried leaving it at the black screen for more than 30 mins as well but still nothing comes up. However Steam says that I have played it for 3 hours now. Can anyone please help with this issue? Have tried every possible fix, driver updates, windows update, running it in admin mode, etc. still does not work. My PC certainly meets the system requirements, appreciate any help I can get on this.

What are your specs?
These are the specs, do let me know if anthing is amiss

Win 10 64Bit
AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor 4.00 GHz
RAM 16GB
GeForce GTX 750Ti

Hey, thanks I jut tried now & it worked...you are awesome, thanks for your valuable help. I wasted so much time looking up youtube videos for fixes & you just give me a simple solution & it worked like a charm.

Glad it works now but just for your interest your specs do NOT meet the minimum requirements especially your GPU is way below the minimum.

Yes I am looking for an upgrade, any suggestions on what should be the specs are most welcome.

Buy any Ryzen X3D CPU, don't buy Intel CPUs. Don't buy a gfx cards with less than 16 GB of VRAM. Even 12 GB is questionable at this point.

It fixed the issue, however the games does not save the progress & there is no option to manually save it as well. Have tried the cloud upload but that does not work either.

You need to finish tutorial missions first. Do the first mission as a spy agent, visit the safehouse for the 1st time, do some objectives inside and leave the safe house - Restart DedSec mission. At this point the game must save the progress, you'll see a save option in 'Esc' menu, Although it's not a real manual save, it's just a checkpoint save you can force through a menu.

Also make sure that savegame folder was created:
c:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<user-id>\7017\

And back up your savegame files from time to time, in case you got a very rare save corruption bug.
