How long does it take for you? It's 30 or 40 sec. As far as I understand the game checks your DLCs each time you start it in online mode.

couldnt pass the logging in screen. i tried several times, even restarted the pc. not only that, i tried launching it through ubi launcher getting the same result. after 5 to 10 min wait each time, i gave up and uninstalled it.

When you launch the game for the 1st time in DX12 mode it creates shader cache during logging in screen. This procedure is way, way longer than ~30 sec and might take up to several minutes, it depends on your CPU and HDD/SSD speeds.

Add -DX11 launch option/argument through Steam client to avoid that.

Post your detailed computer specs.
It's been the same for me. I started the final mission of finding Bagley 's memories, and my loading time went from about 30-40 seconds to over 2 minutes, and even then it's only 75%.

You have a relatively rare loading glitch, when something is wrong within a savegame file, the game loads it way, way too long. So it's better to back up your savegame files, just in case.

Steam save folder is:
c:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\<user-id>\7017\

2.save is your 1st campaign slot
3.save is your 2nd campaign slot
4.save is your 3rd campaign slot

Meanwhile this thread is about very long logging in process, right when you start the game.
