I was already playing WD1 after a recent Gameranx video via my Uplay account. I wonder if I can gift or swap the key? Hmm.
"And guess what? It's not the pizza guy!"
I already own the game on Uplay/UbiConnect and have done since launch. I pre-ordered both 1 and 2 so have the Aiden and Retro statuettes.
I completed it 10 years ago and I am currently playing through the game remembering how much fun I had. How much I liked Jordi. How and where people hide when they invade my game.
Pay no attention to my played hours on Steam. I cannot play my steam copy as I own the game already via Ubisoft.
Playing it now I realised something that makes 2 make more sense. It makes playing as Retro make more sense when you consider Watch_Dogs sets up the idea of Dedsec and 2 makes you play from Dedsec's P.O.V. instead of having Dedsec appealing to Aiden for assistance like 1 does.
I liked Aiden as a protagonist. He's kind of like a mix between Batman and Barbara Gordon's Oracle.
What I don't like is the lack of drive-by feature in 1.
But I am revisiting the series, in light of how technology has evolved since the game. Also, due to a Gameranx video speaking about how good 1 was.
