If I buy gold edition can I get Ultimate Pack items in game by playing?

To buy Urban Jungle Pack of 3 additional characters included in Ultimate Edition you will need 2000 coins of gold.

You can earn 700 coins getting 80 levels online once a season.
So you need 3 online seasons to get 2100 coins of gold.
Each season lasts 10 weeks, so you have to get back to online for 20+ weeks to earn it.
In theory with a good team of 3-4 players you can grind for 3-5 days to get 80 levels fast.
The next season will start on the 12th of December.
So in theory if you buy the game right now you can earn 2100 coins by early March, 2024. And that's an optimistic projection. Add 10 weeks on top to get a pessimistic one.

The conclusion is clear, it's not worth it. First of all, all additional characters suck (only Season Pass characters are really great). Second, by the time you'll get 2000 coins online you would probably realize that Lynx, Viper and Leopard are not the best pack in the game. Depending on your playstyle you'll probably decide to buy another pack of characters instead: Reaper pack, Graffiti Crew pack or even Mystics pack.

Forget it, buy Gold Edition, play single player, have fun.

It's a typical FOMO/mtx tactic they're using to get more money from you than they deserved.

You can still buy those 3 characters: Lynx, Viper and Leopard later spending Gold/WD coins from online ranks. It will take tons of time to earn 2000 Gold coins/WD credits to buy them, but at that point you would learn how the game and Prestige characters work and realize that those 3 characters are completely useless, and it's better to spend WD credits on someone else.

I was only interested in the story DLCs and Mina which is why i bought gold instead of ultimate
