These forums are for the discussion of Ubisoft games, including giving advice, feedback, and general gameplay talk. Please make sure all posts are civil, respectful, and constructive – this ensures all visitors can enjoy and benefit from these forums, plus we can more easily collect feedback (be it positive or negative) to pass on to Ubisoft game developers.

To this end, there are specific forum rules covering the sort of behaviour that is and isn’t acceptable here. While the general guideline of “Treat others as you would wish to be treated” applies, all visitors must also abide by these rules. If you do not do so your post may be locked, deleted, and you may also receive a warning, temporary ban, or permanent ban from these forums.

Online Safety

You should not give out personal contact details, including real name, phone number, email, or home address on this forum. Posts here are public and this information will be available to view by anyone, as such for your own safety please keep refrain from posting this information here. Posts of this nature will be deleted for your safety.

Inappropriate Content/images

Posts, external links, or images posted that contain; profanity, obscenity, insults, personal attacks, accusations, or abusive language will be deleted and this will result in a warning or ban.

This forum also uses a language filter to remove words that are considered inappropriate for use here. Such words will be replaced with Hearts. Working around this swear filter in any way, including using asterisks or acronyms, is still considered swearing and therefore not permitted. Racial, sexual, or other discriminatory slurs are likely to result in immediate banning.

Discussion of Piracy

Discussion of software piracy in any of its forms is strictly not allowed on these forums. This includes links to illegal downloads of games or methods by which to circumvent copy protection mechanisms.

Flaming/Trolling

This refers to >
- Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums, chatrooms, or game lobbies
- Causing disturbances in forum threads, chats, or game lobbies, such as picking fights, making off-topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters
- Making posts designed to or likely to get inappropriate responses.

Posts of this nature will be removed and if persistent can lead to a forum ban.

Naming & Shaming

As it is not possible for us to edit a thread to remove names, we will remove any thread that calls out a player by name. This is not to hide or protect a cheater or toxic player, but simply to avoid false reports, witch-hunts, or targeted attacks on potentially innocent players.

If you believe you have a strong case against a suspected cheater/toxic player, please use the in-game 'Report a Player tool'. Spamming/bumping threads

Repeatedly posting the same post or topic in a forum, or across multiple forums, is considered spamming. Such posts will be locked or removed. Intentional off-topic or nonsense posting is also likely to be considered spam and will receive the same treatment.

If you think of something else you want to add to the thread, please use the Edit button rather than making multiple posts in a row as this may also be seen as spamming, whether intentional or not.

Stay on topic

Please make sure your post is going in the correct forum. We have specific forums sections in some of our forums, such as General Discussion, Player Support, and Looking For Group sections. Threads that are off-topic, become so, or are in the wrong section, may be moved or locked.

Language used

While users are welcome to post in their native language here, our Support Staff are only able to provide you with assistance in English at the moment in these particular forums. We may ask you to provide an English translation, but if you are not comfortable posting in English, you can also speak with the Support Team through our Help website, where an agent will reply to you, in your preferred language where available > https://www.ubisoft.com/help/contact

Reporting Posts or Players

If you see a post, profile, or avatar that is inappropriate, we would ask you to report them via the guide below. Duplicate accounts

Creating an extra account to post on the forums, to try to get around a temporary ban, will also result in a permanent one. Accounts that impersonate a Ubisoft representative, will earn an immediate ban. This also applies to using existing accounts to post lock messages or other actions impersonating a moderator. Ban decisions are also final and not up for discussion.

Moderation and Enforcement of the Rules

Moderation actions are not a topic for public discussion and all decisions are at the discretion of the Support Staff. Flaming Support Staff, their actions, or back-seat moderating is no more acceptable than insulting a regular user. These posts will be removed and a warning will be given.
