Oh Ubisoft, seriously?

I saw Watch Dogs: Legion on Steam - I was glad.
I clicked on the profile and saw Denuvo - I was sad.

Well done Ubisoft!
In 5 seconds you destroyed all my desire to buy this game on re-launch day.

The game is two years old! If I wanted to play a pirated version, I would have done it a long time ago. And the funny thing is, you may have just convinced me, because I'm definitely not going to pay full price for a game that's two years old while you want to treat me like a potential thief. Not only that, apart from Denuvo, the game on Steam will also require uPlay. And on top of that you don't offer full Steam integration - no achievements, no cards, etc.
At this point, why bother with Steam at all?

Kindly provide us with solid proof for comparison between a denuvo and a non denuvo version. I'm always glad when people come with evidence so we can "demistify".
