Jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Christ, where do I start? Thronefall is a charming, fun, unique indie game with a completely unique gameplay loop and artstyle. Kingshot procided to 100% completely steal EVERYTHING. From the gameplay to the artsyle to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MUSIC. That piece of ♥♥♥♥ couldn't come up with a single unique thing. And what's the worst part? Kingshot has seen wide success with 4.7 stars contrasting Thronefall's minimal success, despite the more successful one being a BLATANTLY WORSE RIPOFF OF THE ONE THAT MADE LESS MONEY. And HOLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ IN THE DESCRIPTION OF THE GAME THEY SAY THAT KINGSHOT IS "INNOVATIVE." THIS IS NOT A JOKE, GO READ THE APP STORE PAGE.
The fact that a company can steal from an indie development team and make an objectively worse version of their game that gets infinitely more succes and GET AWAY WITH IT is ABSURD.
I'm probably way more pissed about this than is reasonable, but still. I'm allowed to be irrationally angry about something AT LEAST one a week. I wish I could at least report the game on the app store and give it a negative review without downloading it.
