High Scores
Hi everyone, considering purchasing this game but just wondering, is this the type of game you want to replay just to beat your own high score? I take it the game keeps track of your highest score in each realm? Thanks in advance.

It does keep track of your score and it shows how you rank vs people on your friendlist.

Personally, I just want to meet the score for beating challenges to get the achievements but if you like going for the high score then it is a thing here.

One of my favorite parts of Thronefall is how it separates the casual audience from those who want to maximize their high score. You are free to restart waves and try new strategies only at the cost of bonus points. You miss nothing and can achieve everything by playing the game how you want to.

Thanks Kranst, that is right up my street!

Typically, doing the progressive challenges, which make you choose certain buffs, weapons and difficulty modifiers gets you around 10k points for the toughest challenge. You can then play many more times working out your own perks and modifiers. I've been getting 20-40k on most maps, but have seen crazy scores (100-200k), though which seem to cheese the game a bit, like single troop placements around the map. Its not really cheesing, but crazy optimisation which doesn't interest me. So yeah, stick with the base, push yourself a little more, or go all in and 'hack' every round to reach the crazy scores.
