Can someone explain the "No Restart" bonus to me?
So I read the wiki (the laggy github one) and it said "If the player did not use the restart function of the game, they are rewarded by an +10% increase of their score. This +10% applies to all the other Score: (Base Score + Gold Score + Mutator Bonus) x 1.1"

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3228956561

So, if that's true why is 10% of 7,600 = 761? The math is not mathing.

Is there a hidden bonus? Is it a bug? Is this just garbage (float) decimal rounding?

what's wrong with rounding (S * 0.1) to the closest bigger integer? It is obviously a measure for taking into account the infinity number of potential cases when your base score is not THAT round like 5400, but something like 5432, so (S*0.1) won't be an integer. Especially when playing with mutators. And to round such real numbers seems just a tribute to the players which is good

You didn't really answer my question. Are you saying that the game always rounds up and that is what is happening here? Even if that is how it works, the closest biggest integer is 760. It isn't even the "closest" it is exactly 760. So your point is moot unless you are telling me that it will always round up by a single point to account for any, or in this case no, actual decimal value?

Also I never said there was anything wrong with it. I just said that if this is a rounding thing it's garbage. Why? Because there are no decimals here. Everything is a whole number. If you want to round 760.00000000000000000001 to 761, OK, I think it's silly but that's fine. If you want to round 760.00000000000000000000 to 761, no that's just stupid. Cmon, use your noggin.

I imagine the issue is floating point rounding in binary rather than in base 10. Frankly it's not a big deal either way though.

There are several wiki's out there. I got this info from the GitHub one.

I meant "to elaborate on the "laggy" part". :)

Exactly what it says. When I scroll the site, it stutters like a game dropping frames. Never seen a website behave like that before, but never seen github used for a wiki before either. I assume something about my system causes it, can't imagine everyone experiences it otherwise everyone would mention it.

I guess it's either something about your system or the way the browser renders the page as it runs well on my old (celeron CPU) laptop.

Shouldnt be a rounding issue. It could be floor +1 though.
