Remaking
Best to have a party level 10 Remaking, you unlock a Re-creation Gem(Any item shop sells for 3800)after getting your new mount (Psynard)

Best use of remaking:
Make Plain omelet (increase the chance of rare factors during remaking)
- Master Chef (Egg + Egg)

Create an item with a masterwork factor(Best on Armour/weapon)
-Make sure is not a rare item, duplicate it as many as you desire

For BUFF
- 4 useless accessories + 1 Masterwork item

For SUPPORT
- 4 Portrait + 1 Masterwork item

For SPECIAL
- 4 Fishes + 1 Masterwork item

- I do not know if masterwork stacks if it does
5 masterwork swords/punchers/clip/whips for buff or 5 masterwork accessories,
5 masterworks Armour for support and
5 masterworks Rod/book/fist for special

I am not 100% sure I have all the factors. If I miss any, please discuss below. Thanks

A. Weapons

Atk + 5/10/ 20%(Rare)
Int + 5/10/ 20%(Rare)
Crit +5/10/ 20%(Rare)
Hp Drain (20% Damage Dealt heals HP)(Rare)
Mp Drain (5% Damage Dealt heals MP)(Rare)
Mental Focus (attacks cost 10 mp but always hit the target)(Rare)
Factor Activator (All factors are 1.5x as likely to occur)(Rare)
Scum Slayer (Instantly kill enemies with 'Scum' in their name)(Rare)
All For One (Deal 5% more damage per party member in battle other than you)(Rare)
Fight or Flight (Atk/Int/Def increases as HP gets lower (Max 30%)(Rare)
Backstab (Guarantees critical hits when attacking from behind)(Rare)

Instant Death/Paralysis/Silence/Poison (chance of inflicting said status on hit)
Add Fire/Water/Wind/Earth/Light/Dark (add element to attacks)
Cancel Boost (Special art power increases by 15% when cancelling out of normal attacks)
Steal (attacks have a 5% chance to steal the target's drop item)
Lone Wolf (Atk/Def/Hit/Avd/Int increase by 15% when fighting alone)
Hurricane Strike (the first attack when Godspeed activates deals 150% damage)
Revenge (The last damage received is added to the next damage inflicted)
Adversity (Atk/Int/Def increase as HP gets lower (Max 15%)


B. Armor

Avd +5/10/ 20%(Rare)
Stm Up +10/20/ 30(Rare)
Guts Up +10/20/ 30(Rare)
Back from the Brink (5-second invincibility after being revived)(Rare)
Full Reset (All negative statuses are removed after 10 seconds)(Rare)
Adamantine (Negates Damage below 10% of Max Hp)(Rare)
Defensive Stance (30% chance of bonus gauge not breaking when missing a perfect counter)(Rare)
Crit Super Boost (heal 2% hp&mp on critical hit)(Rare)
Super Rally (revive with 40% hp one time on death)(Rare)
Emergency Measures (Heal 10% hp when blocking enemy attacks)(Rare)

Narrow Escape (If reduced to 0 HP by an attack when HP is 40% or more, survive with 1 HP)
Crit Heal (heal 1% hp on a critical hit)
Crit Energy (heal 1% mp on a critical hit)
Cast Iron (Negates Damage below 5% of Max Hp)
Quick Fix (Heal 5% hp when blocking enemy attacks)
Symbology Field (Def 10% up while Casting)
Ultra Symbology Field (Def 20% up while Casting)
Ukemi (10% chance of bonus gauge not breaking when missing a perfect counter)
Resolute Heart (gain the effects of Angel Feather when starting a battle after a Retry)
Metabolism (Poison is removed after 10 seconds)

Lucky Guard (20% chance to negate damage when taking critical hits from enemies)

Loving Care (30% chance of halving assault gauge consumption when using Assaults)
Break Up (Increase depletion of Enemy Shields by 10%)
Morale booster (Fills the assault gauge of all assault members by 25% when the battle starts, does not stack)
Righteous Fury (Rage duration is double)
Fury (When angered after an ally is incapacitated, enemy attacks no longer cause recoil)
Uptrend (150% more bonus spheres appear for 10 seconds when a bonus triggers)
Fishing Slayer (Deal 150% more damage to enemies encountered while fishing)
Repose (Recover 3% hp every 3 seconds spent motionless in battle)
Meditation (Recover 3% mp every 3 seconds spent motionless in battle)
Red Dragon (Converts 10% of physical damage taken to MP. Also converts symbology damage if paired with Blue Dragon)

Birds of a Feather (3 of the same factor = foe's damaged shields will not recover for 5 seconds)

You're the second person I see claiming hp/mp drain is possible on accessories so I got to ask, is this only possible through remaking? Because those factors sure won't show up just crafting accessories...

No it's not possible, they're mistaken. They got that accessories from challenge or NPC, it's premade.

And the original author of this article (this was copied from reddit) also got that info from some random redditor.

Well now I got to figure out where exactly where they got those rings. But thanks for clarifying.

How do we know which factors are within the special, buff, support? Since even though I use fodder that increases a certain category's chance, the outcome still feels random to me. That's one vague thing about the categories which confuses me tbh

For buff you can get full bar wihout any in special and support.

For other two, just trial and error, big data makes it certain.

For example, I've done more than 6,000 reworking for all the characters and I can assure you stuff like crit heal, mp drain, hp drain, full reset, etc are in support category for armor. While stuff like gathering stars, bomber, coercion, item master, and full bonus are in special category for accessories. It's just because I've done thousands of it.

Did you get it from remaking or did you find that item? Because I have a gale earring with 20% hp drain that was a found item. It wasn't made with crafting or remaking.

I have yet to get either drain on accessories or armor from remaking while I fairly consistently get it on weapons.

do you know what category masterwork falls in? I've tried using fodder to get it but somehow it doesn't come out.

Tried just brute-forcing with just factor energy/food and lo and behold master work appears on the equipment that i need to factor which is honestly annoying me

Masterwork is under special and can be put on anything as far as I can tell.

20% hp drain gale earring is premade item, not the one you make through reworking.

Sorry for bumping this but you are 100% correct here, I was going around looking for chests I missed and found that hp drain gale earring west of the crater in eluria. So that's one mystery solved, only the elusive mp drain berserker ring to find (assuming that one actually exists, I have my doubts on that)
