Mischief, Trickster and Fortune
Do you need an active party member equipped with these to get the item gaining effects? Or can you have it equipped on a member not in your active party of 4, and still get the benefits?

You can equip the sprite bracelet (mischief) on an inactive party member and it still functions.

The sprite bracelet isn't that great this time around. Getting the medals is extremely rare.

That being said, I'd still get it and wear it till you get one (I got a whopping 2 in 6 hours, that's how rare it is). After getting one, unequip it and just replicate the things at that point.

The medals are extremely easy to get.
Just contraband them...
Contraband will also get you infinite money.
